“I saw that few therapists listed the elderly as a group they would service. Wendy welcomed me at age 78. I saw that she had additional experience outside of counseling, which is important for a broader perspective. I am grateful for her insight and kindness.”

Getting to know Wendy Papalcure

I am a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida with 25 years of experience. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Adelphi University. I have a deep passion for working with people and pride myself on being a down-to-earth therapist who brings empathy and a willingness to always learn about what makes your situation unique. I never use a one-size-fits-all approach. In our work together, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop practical strategies for moving forward. I specialize in working with adults struggling with family estrangement, pre- and post-divorce challenges, blending stepfamilies, single parenting, codependency, self-esteem, and reinventing yourself throughout your lifespan-including developing a new career, relocating, and navigating life transitions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
