Wendy Taylor, LMFT

Wendy Taylor, LMFT

Psychotherapist
IN
Looking for coping skills to manage frequent daily stressors, previous trauma, depression or anxiety? I've been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) for 23 years and have had a variety of different roles in the behavioral health field. I believe my personal and employment experiences over the years help to inform the way I am with clients. While I work with adult individuals only at this time, I'm skilled in relationship dynamics and work a lot with individuals who are also involved in therapy with their spouse or significant other. Sometimes individual therapy is required to address personal issues which impact the relationship. I believe my own struggles, particularly when I was younger, have been the most powerful motivators of my work as a therapist. Reaching out for help or trying therapy for the first time can be stressful for some due to past trauma, fear of vulnerability, trust issues, the unknown, etc. If you've made it this far, I'm glad you're pushing through the uncomfortableness in hopes of finding new skills or techniques to help improve your current situation. **I'm licensed in IL, IN, and NM.**

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
