Hello! I am Wendy Theriot,MA,LPC. I specialize in trauma focused therapy; I have worked in the private practice setting as well as treatment facility setting. I have taken a break from in-person therapy where I specialized in EMDR; I spent years working with First Responders, Veterans and Military Personnel and still do. At the moment I use CPT/CBT/DBT ( during virtual sessions) which are all therapies that address negative feedback loops. I am knowledgeable in how trauma affects the brain and how it impacts the client’s life in negative ways. The therapy approaches I use help heal and change those negative effects. In addition to the methods I use for individual counseling I also help couples heal their relationship using Gottman’s Method and work with families to change negative feedback loops and help foster better interpersonal relationships in the home….

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
