“Excellent listener and engager. Seem to take quantifiable notes so they know what to delve into in future sessions. This was my first session so I would say that it was far exceeding expectations from previous appointments that I'd had with other providers.”

Getting to know Wendy Weise

**Now accepting new clients** I enjoy working with people looking to find answers to current stressors, working on depression, anxiety, past trauma, or facing issues that develop with age. If you're feeling stuck, stressed, or worried about the world-or at a crossroads between staying where you're at or building a happier life-I'd love to work with you! I hold a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Arizona State University.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Together we can explore patterns of behavior or thinking that may be holding you back or causing emotional pain. I can also help you better understand how your past might be informing your present and develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion. We can also work on practical strategies for creating the life you want.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Past clients have said they felt safe, respected, and heard, motivated to make the changes they were seeking. It’d be my honor to develop the same supportive experience for you, as you work through stress, grief, life transitions, whatever is holding you back in life--and help you flourish.

Don’t see your insurance?

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $130 for 50 minutes
Ongoing session: $120 for 50 minutes
  • Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

More information on payments and coverage

I use a billing company that will call you in advance of our appointment to gather insurance information and to let you know of any co-pays prior to session. With the exception of Medicare, I can also provide a superbill for out-of-network clients to help with reimbursement and to keep therapy affordable.
