What should a new client know about working with you?

I highly value the importance of our bodies in therapy. Considering the cultural influence, many people express or feel emotions almost only through their body reactions. Trauma can make profound impact on one’s body but usually people overlook the meaning of their physical discomfort. It can be confusing or even scary to discover the message that our body send to us for the first time. And I would love to assist my clients to feel confident and comfortable to begin the trip. I love to make art with my own hands. I enjoy playing with paper and cotton loops. Macrame and paper rose are two major projects I am doing recently. Watercolor, painting, and tie-dye are always interesting. Art teaches me how to be patient with the process and how smalls steps make big differences. Creating beauty build resilience. I like to have deep conversations within myself and with loved ones. Practicing therapeutic techniques to myself is a lot of fun and always beneficial. I am passionate about my life, and I believe the way to cherish life is to be grateful and remember worthy moments. To laugh and be “silly” with my 7 years old daughter is a happy daily routine!

Here are some steps you can take to make the most of your therapy experience: - Find the right therapist: The first step is to find a therapist who is a good fit for you. Look for someone who specializes in the type of to address and whose style matches your preferences. I hope I can be that person for you. - Set clear goals: It's important to have clear goals for therapy so that you and I are on the same page. In our first session, we will discuss your goals and work together to create a treatment plan that outlines the steps you will take to achieve those goals. - Try to be open and honest with me about your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I am here to help you, and I can only do so if I have a clear understanding of what's going on. - Trust the process: Therapy can be a long process, and it's important to trust that the work you're doing with me will pay off in the end. It's also important to be patient and not expect instant results. - Practice self-care: In addition to attending therapy sessions, it's important to practice self-care on a regular basis. This may include activities such as exercise, meditation, or spending time with loved ones. - Keep an open mind: Finally, it's important to keep an open mind and be willing to try new things.
