Whitney Rominger, LPC

Psychotherapist
11124 Wurzbach Rd, Ste 305, San Antonio, TX
My practice is focused on working with teens and young adults to navigate this stage of life's challenges, including identity exploration, higher education and career, relationships, and family changes. On the flip side of so much exciting change can come uncertainty, self-doubt, stress, and unhealthy habits. As we shift into adulthood, many old patterns begin to shake loose, and we can find ourselves feeling quite lost. These challenges may stem from internalized messages we've held unknowingly for ages-sometimes sounding like a mean-girl or an angry parent inside your head. This is all normal and common, and you're not crazy or defective. My goals in the therapy room are not only to hear and validate you but also to work with you to uncover and understand what brings you to this moment, whether it is painful, confusing, or deeply stressful. Through connection, self-understanding, and action outside of therapy, real change can happen. I hold a Master's in Professional Counseling from the University of Houston, which informs my compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.
