You've spent years showing up for everyone else — your work, your family, your community — and somewhere along the way, you lost track of yourself. Maybe it looks like burnout or anxiety. Maybe it's grief, a hard transition, the weight of caregiving, or just a quiet sense that something has to change. If that's you, you're in the right place. I work with adults who are ready to come home to themselves — including those carrying the particular weight of mission-driven work, and Native clients seeking care rooted in their own worldview. Whoever you are, you'll be met with warmth, curiosity, and no rush. I came to this work after my own lifetime of giving everything to a mission, then finding the courage to begin again — so I understand what that season asks of you. As a Sicangu Lakota and Blackfeet woman, I bring an Indigenous lens that honors your whole self: your story, your relationships, and the generations standing behind you. I'm trained in EMDR for trauma and the places we get stuck, and in the Gottman Method for couples and relationships. I also offer neurofeedback — a gentle, non-invasive way to help your nervous system find more calm and focus. Whether you're navigating life's transitions, healing old wounds, or strengthening a relationship, there is no version of you that is too much, or not enough, here. You don't have to hold it alone — and I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Working with me feels less like a clinical appointment and more like sitting down with someone who genuinely wants to know you. I lead with warmth and curiosity — I'll ask questions, follow your lead, and let us move at a pace that feels safe for you. You won't be rushed, judged, or handed a one-size-fits-all plan. I believe healing happens in connection — to yourself, to the people who matter to you, and to something larger than all of us. My approach is grounded in an Indigenous worldview that sees you as a whole person: mind, body, spirit, and story. When it's helpful, I draw on EMDR to gently work through trauma and stuck places, neurofeedback to help your nervous system settle, and the Gottman Method to strengthen relationships. More than anything, I want you to feel met. You can bring all of who you are — your culture, your questions, your grief, your hopes — and trust that it belongs here. We'll figure out what you need together, one honest conversation at a time.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

You won't have to figure out the logistics alone. First, you'll connect with one of our care coordinators, who will get you set up in the client portal, gather your insurance information, and answer any questions — so by the time we meet, you can simply focus on you. Our first session together is a relaxed get-to-know-you. We'll talk through your story and history at your pace, and begin shaping a plan to move forward — one built around your goals, not a one-size-fits-all program. To start, most new clients meet with me once or twice a week. That early rhythm helps us build trust and momentum when you need support most. As you grow and your needs change, we'll adjust how often we meet. When it's helpful, I'll draw on tools like EMDR, neurofeedback, or the Gottman Method, always at a pace that feels safe to you. More than anything, this is a steady relationship you can count on as you find your way back to yourself.

More information on payments and coverage

I believe that financial stress shouldn’t be a barrier to healing your nervous system. At NATIVation, we aim for transparency so you can focus on your 'Medicine Wheel' balance rather than paperwork. Insurance & Verification We are in-network with several major providers, including Aetna, SelectHealth, and Cigna. Before our first session, our care team will perform a courtesy insurance check to estimate your coverage. However, insurance can be complex—I always recommend that you call your provider to confirm your specific outpatient mental health benefits and any co-pays you may be responsible for. Payment Options & Assistance If you are paying out-of-network or do not have insurance, my individual session rate is $139. We accept all major credit cards, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards. I understand that sometimes the 'buffering' phase of life includes financial hurdles. To help, we offer: CareCredit Financing: This allows you to set up manageable monthly payments so you can start your EMDR or somatic work without a large upfront cost. Our Process To keep our focus on your healing during our time together, we require all intake forms and insurance details to be completed through our portal 24 hours before your visit. If you have questions about your bill or need to set up a payment plan, our team is incredibly supportive and ready to help you navigate the 'logistics' so you can stay grounded in your work.
