I consider myself an educator therapist. I like to educate people on specific skills and strategies that work to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, addictions, fears and phobias, low self-esteem and self-worth, along with numerous types of adjustment issues in life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide an education through the use of worksheets, journaling, and homework exercises from Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy that allows a client to modify attitudes, thoughts, and behaviors that have been identified as problem areas.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Once we review the homework to insure proper understanding then we engage in talk therapy and role modeling and the practicing of the skills, attitudes, and behaviors desired by the client.
