Psychotherapist
NJ
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works primarily with young adults and professionals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that people are not defined by what they’ve been through, but by the meaning they make of those experiences and the direction they choose moving forward. I specialize in working individuals who often feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of purpose. I also have a strong interest in working with men who may find it difficult to access or engage in traditional therapy spaces, creating an environment that is direct, grounded, and approachable. In addition, I have extensive experience working with survivors of trauma (sexual violence, domestic violence, etc.), particularly those navigating higher education settings. My style is collaborative and reflective. I aim to create space for you to slow things down, make sense of your experiences, and better understand the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and respond. From there, we work together to find what actually feels useful and meaningful to you. While much of the work is grounded in reflection and insight, I also incorporate practical tools and awareness based skills when it feels helpful, especially in moments where talking alone may not be enough. I aim to create a space that feels both supportive and honest. At times, that may mean slowing things down and making room for reflection. At other times, it may involve challenging patterns that are no longer serving you. My goal is to help you feel more equipped and more aligned with the life you want to live.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that therapy with me is a collaborative process. I’m not someone who will just sit back and nod. I’ll engage with you, ask thoughtful questions, and help you look at things from different angles. At the same time, I respect your pace and what you’re ready to explore. I tend to be more reflective in my approach, helping you make sense of your experiences and patterns, while also bringing in practical tools and strategies when they’re useful. Some sessions may feel more exploratory, while others may be more focused and skill-based. Most importantly, I aim to create a space that is honest, grounded, and productive—where you can both feel supported and challenged in ways that actually help you move forward.
