Getting to know Willow Morris

Hi there, I'm Willow! Hi, I’m Willow Morris. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s in Counseling from Lindenwood University, here to walk alongside those who seek healing, meaning, fulfillment, and their truest selves. My experience is primarily with LGBTQIA+ adults. I have witnessed the healing power of unapologetic authenticity, which is central to my practice. My approach I take an eclectic approach, tailoring methods to each client’s needs. I often use CBT, REBT, and EMDR to address immediate concerns, mental health symptoms, or challenge limiting beliefs that interfere with growth. The foundation of my approach is rooted in humanistic and existential principles, focusing on unconditional positive regard, non-judgment, radical honesty, and exploring the depths of the human experience. My focus My passion lies in providing informed and affirming care to queer, ace/aro, transgender/non-binary, polyamorous/ethical non-monogamous, and kink/sex-positive communities. I work with clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms, grief, life transitions, identity exploration, and spiritual healing. My communication style I prioritize giving clients space to be themselves. I practice unconditional positive regard with a gentle, patient approach focused on listening. I believe it’s more beneficial to let clients go at their own pace rather than being directive. My journey to mental healthcare Since childhood, I’ve found joy in listening to others’ stories. Whether dark or light, the rawer and more honest, the clearer their unique beauty. In my life and work, I’ve seen how transformative and powerful it is to live into one’s true self.
