I am a person-centered therapist who approaches therapy collaboratively. Most of my practice has historically focused on trauma (sexual, childhood, military, etc.), depression, anxiety, and women's issues, though I have experience with other concerns as well. My approach I use a variety of therapeutic methods depending on what is most helpful for each situation. I provide EMDR therapy, CBT, DBT, or other approaches as appropriate to meet each client's individual needs. My focus I work with clients ages 13 and up, across all genders, treating conditions such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, trauma, and many others. My journey to mental healthcare My interest in becoming a therapist began when I was a foster parent for criminally delinquent teens. I wanted to support an underserved population with little control over their lives. During my education and experiences in school, I also developed a passion for working with adults. I am driven to continue this work because I have seen therapy change lives, and I want to be part of those profound transformations. My goals for you I approach goal setting formally. I ask each client about their goals and then collaborate to develop a plan to reach them.
