Psychotherapist

Hello, I'm Wykeeta. Counseling is more than a job for me; it is a calling. I believe that everything has a purpose, even this moment. Do you find it hard to turn off that switch in your head? Are the events from yesterday keeping you up at night? Does it feel like there's an invisible weighted blanket wrapped around you? Do you find yourself being the sounding board for everyone else, with few or no people to really listen and hear what you have to say? You're not alone. Life happens. I have had those moments, and I have helped a number of people discover their triggers and indicators of depression and anxiety. I have inspired people to learn how to stay present in the moment while focusing on the positivity of the situation. My approach to counseling is person-centered and strength-based. You're the expert on you! My job is to listen and guide you to the path that would lead to a favorable outcome. I believe that we consist of body, soul, and spirit, and in counseling, I will strongly encourage you to explore the totality of self. I specialize in adolescent and teen mental/behavioral health, anger management, anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief/bereavement, intimate/romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, and trauma. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with an MA, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. If you're ready, contact me to schedule an appointment. I look forward to going on this journey with you to achieve your better tomorrow.
