You don't have to keep doing this alone. If you're a mom feeling overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or like you've lost yourself beneath the demands of motherhood, you're not alone. Many of the women I work with are juggling parenting, relationships, careers, and endless responsibilities while silently struggling with stress, burnout, guilt, anxiety, ADHD, or emotional overwhelm. I'm Yadira Reyes, LCSW, and I specialize in supporting mothers throughout California who are ready to stop merely surviving and start feeling more like themselves again. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are, without pressure to have everything figured out. Whether you're navigating anxiety, postpartum challenges, parenting stress, mom rage, relationship difficulties, life transitions, or the mental load that comes with caring for everyone else, therapy can help. Together, we'll identify patterns that keep you feeling stuck, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen boundaries, and help you reconnect with your own needs and values. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique experiences. I combine evidence-based practices with genuine understanding of the challenges modern mothers face. My goal is to help you feel more confident, emotionally balanced, and equipped to handle life's demands without sacrificing your own well-being. You deserve support, too. Therapy isn't about becoming a perfect parent. It's about creating space for yourself, healing what feels heavy, and building a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and aligned with who you are. If you're ready to take the next step toward feeling calmer, more connected, and more empowered, I'd be honored to support you on that journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

What should a new client know about working with you? Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you're used to being the one everyone else depends on. My goal is to create a space where you can take off the pressure to have it all together and show up exactly as you are. I specialize in supporting mothers who are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, ADHD-related challenges, postpartum struggles, life transitions, relationship stress, and the emotional weight of caring for everyone else. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling exhausted, disconnected from themselves, or unsure how to keep managing the demands of daily life. Our work together is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you gain insight, build practical coping tools, and create meaningful change. Therapy with me is not about judgment or perfection. It's about helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your emotional resilience, and develop strategies that actually fit your real life. I take a warm, down-to-earth approach while incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and nervous system-informed interventions. I strive to balance emotional support with practical guidance, helping you move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to feeling more confident, grounded, and empowered. Whether you're navigating a challenging season or seeking personal growth, you don't have to do it alone. I value authenticity, trust, and genuine connection, and I work hard to create a safe environment where you feel heard, supported, and respected. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can not only heal, but also reconnect with who you are beyond your responsibilities and begin creating the life you want for yourself.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy should meet you where you are. Each session begins with a check-in about how you've been feeling, how your week has been, and whether there's something weighing heavily on your heart or mind that you'd like to focus on. Sometimes what you need most is a space to talk things through and feel genuinely heard. Other times, we may use grounding exercises, breathing techniques, or coping skills to help you feel more centered and supported. As we explore what's coming up for you, I'll help identify patterns, themes, and underlying beliefs that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or emotional challenges. Together, we'll work through these patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies, and develop more balanced and compassionate ways of responding to life's difficulties. Throughout our work, we'll connect what we're exploring back to your therapy goals while identifying practical solutions and tools that fit your unique needs. I often find that thoughts and worries can feel overwhelming when they're held inside, but talking them through in a supportive space can help you gain clarity, perspective, and a new way of understanding the situation. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and equipped to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.

More information on payments and coverage

I want the financial side of therapy to feel as clear and stress-free as possible. I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to use their out-of-network mental health benefits for partial reimbursement. I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Because every insurance plan is different, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn about your out-of-network mental health benefits, deductible, and reimbursement eligibility before starting therapy. Payment is due at the time of service, and fee and payment information will be reviewed before your first appointment so you know what to expect. I also reserve a limited number of reduced-fee appointments for clients experiencing financial hardship. Availability is limited, but if cost is a concern, please feel free to reach out to discuss possible options. My goal is to provide high-quality, compassionate care while helping you make informed decisions about the financial investment in your mental health and well-being.
