I am a graduate Creative Arts Therapist who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults explore their emotions, build resilience, and heal through the creative process. I believe that art offers a unique way to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to communicate with words alone. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and encouraged to discover their own strengths. During my graduate clinical training, I worked in acute psychiatric hospital settings, providing both individual and group art therapy to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and psychosis. I have experience developing and facilitating creative interventions that promote emotional regulation, self-awareness, coping skills, and meaningful self-expression while collaborating with multidisciplinary treatment teams to support each client’s treatment goals. As a therapist, I take a compassionate, strengths-based, and person-centered approach to my work. I believe that every individual has the capacity for growth, healing, and change when they feel supported and understood. I am committed to providing culturally responsive care and helping clients use creativity as a tool for self-discovery, resilience, and lasting emotional well-being.
