Yana Drukin treats patients starting at 5 years old. She is a Board Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work and a Master's in Clinical Social Work from Bar Ilan University in Israel. In addition, she completed three years of psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy study and training. Yana has 13 years of experience working in outpatient mental health clinics and private practice settings.
In her practice, she utilizes multimodal therapeutic approaches such as psychodynamic, CBT, brief intervention, psycho-educational, and coaching, adapting her treatment approach to meet each client's needs. She practices individually, in groups, marital counseling, co-therapy, and supervision. Yana treats children from age 5 through seniors with a wide variety of mental health diagnoses, relationship issues, and situational problems of living. Her clients come from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. She provides psychotherapy in English, Russian, and Hebrew.
Yana believes that the decision to address mental discomfort requires courage and may serve as the first step to emotional freedom. Her goal is to create safe therapeutic relationships in which clients can freely explore issues from their past or present, work through them, and change negative, destructive behaviors.
