Welcome! My name is Yanier Rodriguez Perez, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior) Therapist. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Florida International University. My clients come to me for a variety of reasons. I enjoy working with adolescents and young adults to address specific mental health concerns and improve their quality of life. My therapeutic style is solution-oriented, empowering, and holistic. I take a collaborative and well-rounded approach to guide those in achieving their therapeutic goals. I integrate a variety of interventions to help meet the needs of each client in areas such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, adjusting to life changes, mood and behavior issues, goal-setting, social-emotional learning, and traumatic history. My background includes a variety of evidence-based interventions applied in diverse settings. I blend these approaches to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. Together, we will work toward what is most relevant to you or your child for your presenting concerns.

Clients can expect a safe space where they can explore vulnerabilities and strengths and grow as a person to become their best selves. In our first session, we will build rapport, get to know each other, and ensure you feel comfortable enough to work with me and feel connected.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
