Matched with Kathy from first session. She did thorough evaluation and I liked how she kept me inform about the whole process of how therapy works since I am new to this. Kathy helped me overcome my childhood trauma, years of childhood trauma.
I have been to 5 different therapist before I found Kathy. No-one sat right with me. I have had an amazing experience with Kathy. She just get it. She says it like it is, she is direct yet she will listen to you and your emotions. I was able to overcome my crumbling anxiety. She gives simple analogy such as tool box to help manage anxiety flair ups. I am so glad I found her. She also connected me with great Nurse Practitioner who understood that I dont want to be on meds for rest of my life just for a bit to get through this rough patch while I learn how to change my behavior.
Kathy is truly the most kindest health provider I have ever met. She is truly dedicated to her work, with a deep knowledge of what she does. I decided to book my therapy with her after I saw that she sticks to her specialty and not like other ones who list so many things the specialize in and when you meet them for session they are just a body sitting there with lack of passion. As my first time seeing a therapist, I immediately felt safe and understood. She genuinely cares about her clients and makes it a priority to offer support and guidance where it's needed most. One thing she taught me that I use daily (I suffer imposter syndrome ) is that you cant "amazon prime" results. This is among many other things that truly made a difference in my quality of life.
