Yenan Chen, LCSW

Yenan Chen, LCSW

Psychotherapist
CA
I am an LCSW working in the Bay Area, with experience in Child Protection/At-risk family services, Home Health & Hospice, and community mental health centers. My primary clients are members of the Asian community, including new immigrants and their descendants. I address issues such as stress management, depression, anxiety, and immigration trauma. In my previous work, I have also supported patients dealing with postpartum depression and parenting concerns. Because I have similar experiences, I can empathize with the struggles involved and draw on insights from Asian traditional culture to better understand your thoughts and feelings throughout the therapeutic process. I offer counseling services in Chinese, ensuring that language barriers do not prevent you from receiving support. My goal is not only to provide psychological and emotional support but also to help you access community resources to ensure you receive comprehensive care.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
