What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began with an internship at a nonprofit providing mental health services for disadvantaged youth. Working with children and youth for many years taught me about the obstacles and stressors they face socially and academically at school. I've also gained experience across different settings, including treatment foster care programs and both elementary and high school settings All of this work opened my eyes to the need to destigmatize mental health and inspired me to be part of that change. Now, as a mom to a teenager myself, I strive to help parents build connection with their children.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Using a patient-centered approach, I tailor treatment to your unique needs by integrating evidence-based modalities such as CBT, trauma-focused CBT, SFT, ACT, strengths-based therapy, narrative therapy, play therapy modalities, and Mindfulness. My therapeutic style is warm, authentic, and collaborative, ensuring a safe space where you can explore your experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward meaningful personal growth while incorporating your own interests into the therapeutic process. Whether you're seeking support during a difficult season or for recurrent life stressors, remember this quote: "We all have an unsuspected reserve of strength inside that emerges when life puts us to the test." — Isabel Allende
