What should a new client know about working with you?

I am an experienced psychotherapist specializing in helping adolescents and adults with various life challenges and mental health issues. For the past five years, I have assisted individuals in overcoming trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, divorce, adjustment concerns, career changes, and other difficulties. I use evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Centered Behavioral Therapy (TCBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Psychodynamic approaches. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida State University and dual Master’s degrees in Clinical Social Work and Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology to further my expertise. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, going to the gym, attending basketball games, and spending time with loved ones. These activities enrich my understanding and approach to therapy. I believe communication is key in therapy. My style is assertive yet compassionate. I focus on building a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. Together, we will work at a pace that suits you, focusing on your personal goals.
