Getting to know Yezet Lopez

It is my goal as a therapist to help foster an environment that supports your growth and healing. Together, we will create a non-judgmental and supportive space for you to work on your goals. I will help empower you to recognize the patterns that keep you trapped and discontented, guiding you toward a more meaningful and productive life. I specialize in working with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. Communication can be challenging, and it is my goal to help you straighten out what feels misaligned in your life. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, which informs my compassionate and effective approach to therapy.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I practice from a compassionate, trauma-informed and strength-based approach. I offer Cognitive and Psychodynamic Therapy, and mindfulness skills to assist you to connect with your body, identify your thinking patterns, and increase awareness of your feelings, learn useful coping and communication skills, and feel empowered to find your own solutions.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I would love the opportunity to hear your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I offer services in English and Spanish and welcome clients of any ethnicity, gender, and sexual identity.
