Life can sometimes present us with challenges that feel overwhelming, leaving us anxious, depressed, lonely, or hopeless. During these moments, it can seem as if everything is out of control. My goal is to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey, helping you rediscover your strengths and resources during these difficult times. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to provide compassionate and effective care. As a counselor, I am committed to creating a safe, genuine, and supportive environment that fosters personal growth, confidence, and resilience. I approach each client with curiosity and an open heart, utilizing a holistic, integrative, and creative approach to understand your unique world. My practice is multicultural, and I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including psychodynamic theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and expressive arts, to help you find strength, wellness, and new meaning in your life. I work with individuals and couples of all ages, addressing a wide range of challenges, with a special focus on anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood adverse experiences, mood disorders, sexuality, life transitions, relationship issues, and substance use. As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ and immigrant communities, I also specialize in supporting LGBTQ+ clients and immigrants.
