Getting to know Yolanda Knox

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's in Social Work from The University of Oklahoma. I worked as a Family Advocate and caseworker for over 7 years, a life coach for 5 years, and a therapist for 3 years. I normally work with young adults and youth, focusing on trauma, building relationships, grief, break-ups, domestic violence or intimate partner violence, racial inequality, and of course, anxiety and depression. I am a wounded healer. My life has been filled with different challenges, which has given me a deep respect for the differences of life, for realism in love, for honoring the space that we are in, and for creating safe spaces. I have experience helping clients with domestic violence and related issues, relationship challenges, family conflicts, trauma, and abuse. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths to assist you in overcoming the challenges you face. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps toward change. I am here to support and empower you on that journey.
