I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem concerns, and school-related stress. My approach combines evidence-based therapeutic techniques with creative expression to help you communicate feelings that may be difficult to express with words alone.
Drawing on my experience as a former art teacher, I understand how children learn, communicate, and express themselves in unique ways. I work to create a warm, supportive environment where young clients can build confidence, develop coping skills, and explore their emotions through both creative and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

What should a new client know about working with you?
Whether a child is experiencing attention and focus difficulties, anxiety, behavioral concerns, social challenges, or major life transitions, I strive to help every client feel understood, empowered, and capable of thriving.
Areas of focus include ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, self-esteem, social skills, school-related challenges, behavioral concerns, stress management, life transitions, and creative arts therapy.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I provide a safe, supportive, and affirming environment where you can explore emotions through drawing, painting, storytelling, sensory activities, and creative play. Sessions are individualized based on each person's developmental needs, personality, and therapeutic goals.
I am passionate about helping children who may struggle with traditional talk therapy find alternative ways to express themselves, process difficult experiences, and strengthen their ability to manage everyday challenges. I work collaboratively with parents and caregivers to support each child's growth at home, in school, and in their relationships.

Mrs. Kong is a wonderful therapist. She always took the time to work with my children during each visit. Her enthusiasm, compassion, and professionalism are truly reflected in her work. We thoroughly enjoyed attending her sessions. My children never wanted to leave their sessions and look forward to upcoming ones. Thanks to her dedication, my daughter has learned tools to cope with ADHD.
