“Very authentic, easy to talk to, takes the time to listen without judgement, but knows how to properly provide additional feedback, if needed. Ensures that she takes the time to go over what is going well in your life and how you have grown so you can recognize progress too. She feels like a strong advocate for her clients too and makes situations relatable even if she hasn't dealt with quite the same exact situation herself. She will also pull from small examples from her own experiences which helps the client feel more secure and heard in sharing their own thoughts too. I am very grateful to have found her as an ongoing resource who truly cares for her clients.”

Getting to know Yvette Bailey

Hi There, I'm Yvette, Do you want to work with a therapist who will help you rediscover your purpose, passion, and goals in your life? Maybe you had setbacks and unforeseen events that caused you to lose focus, and now you're ready to reclaim your vision and dreams. I'm a strong believer that every setback is a setup for success. I'm an LCSW with a Master's in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and I also attended North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. I empower my clients by utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions that focus on strength-based therapy, helping you reclaim your personal power through talking, coaching, goal planning, and problem solving. I myself have dealt with major setbacks in life, so I understand how difficult it can be to move forward by asking for help. I pride myself on being an ethical clinician who treats everyone fairly and is passionate about supporting populations who feel marginalized and often discriminated against by mainstream society. If you're ready to give therapy a try and work through your personal barriers that keep you from living your "best life," I'll be more than happy to get you started. Yvette Bailey, LCSW

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to have a nonjudgmental therapist who will actively listen, offer suggestions, and feedback to help assist them with their presenting problem. You can expect to feel heard and supported through your difficult times, along with learning new interventions and coping skills. I want your experience in therapy to empower you to heal and know that you're not alone in this process. I've helped clients with various challenges including: self-esteem, relationships, break ups, grief&loss, adjustment disorders, anxiety, and depression. My goals is to help you overcome any fears and limiting beliefs that keep you from achieving your personal goals. If you do not see an appointment time available, please don't hesitate to call for a schedule time.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
