When you are ready, we will begin this journey together. My approach My primary approach to talk therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, CBT. This type of therapy has been demonstrated to be effective for a wide range of mental and emotional issues. CBT is helpful in identifying thought patterns that are barriers to your life goals. I also encourage the use of mindfulness practices and focus on strength-based, solution approaches that build on protective factors in your life and personal strengths that can be utilized in the change process to move toward achievement of therapy goals. My focus I work with adults across the generational span from young adulthood to senior. My clients present with a wide range of concerns. I have successfully worked with clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression. Some may be dealing with issues related to life transition challenges, job loss, relationship challenges, or grief. Others may require assistance with self-esteem issues. If you are working through the impact of trauma in your life, I can support your work in this area. If you suffer from chronic illness, we can work together to develop goals and implement a plan that will help you to optimize your strengths. My approach is compassionate support with guidance, along with education and skill-building, to help you to manage some of life's most difficult challenges.
