Getting to know Yvonne Judge

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a PhD in Social Work, specializing in mental health education. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional IIn (CCTPII) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). My professional work is informed by both extensive clinical training and deeply rooted life experience. I was raised by my grandmother and grew up surrounded by a large extended family where substance use disorders and mental illness were present. These experiences shaped my understanding of resilience, compassion, and the long-term effects of unaddressed emotional pain. I am a Christian (non-denomination), a wife, a mother of two young adult children, and a grandmother to three. I have also experienced three miscarriages and divorce, this has deepened my sensitivity to grief, healing, and life’s most difficult transitions. When appropriate and aligned with a client’s values, I integrate scripture and faith-based principles into the therapeutic process. Clinically, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, bipolar disorder, and chronic medical conditions impacted by mental health challenges. I integrate evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused strategies - grounded in compassion, understanding, and clinical integrity. I believe that all people are born precious and free. Along life’s journey, challenges may leave individuals feeling unseen, unheard, or misunderstood. I am here to help you examine areas where you may feel stuck, while honoring your autonomy and inner strength. Therapy is a space for reflection, self-awareness, and growth - free from judgment and negative self-talk. Therapy can be life-changing. I would be honored to walk alongside you and support you as you move toward healing, clarity, and wholeness.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I will work with you to help you make connections between the way your history, thoughts, emotions, and body sensations impact the way you respond to the world. My intention is to give you an awareness of yourself that will empower you to feel more in control of your life so you can achieve personal growth and healing.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Yvonne has been absolutely wonderful to talk with. She has definitely been a blessing for me.
I loved our first session together! I’ve tried virtual therapy in the past and felt like I lacked building a connection, but I didn’t feel that this time!
Yvonne has been such a great addition to my life as my therapist, she has made me see things from a different perspective in such a loving and knowledgeable way. I wish everyone could connect with a therapist like her. She genuinely cares and shares the best guidance and education. I adore her!
On my first session i can tell she was pure and genuine and she asked a lot of questions and even gave me a assignment and task to preform until our next session. i can tell from the first hour that she chose a great profession and that she has a passion for the words and solutions she offers. im very excited to see where my journey with her leads.
Yvonne is a wonderful therapist. I have been trying to connect with a good therapist for years before I met Yvonne. She has helped me change my life. She meets you where you are and helps guide you too whatever goal you have in mind. Give her a chance she will not disappoint.
I'm experiencing gratitude for the work we’ve done together. Her attentive listening, thoughtful teaching, and consistent focus are helping me understand myself. The sessions are assisting my learning to recognize and make more sense to deal with my emotions. She has become a powerful part of my healing and growth. Her self description helped me choose a wonderful therapist! Thanks so much Yvonne.
Yvonne is truly amazing. When I started this journey again, I was very hesitant because of past experiences with other therapists and I was afraid that it would be the same. However, from day 1, Yvonne showed me that she was the right therapist for me and I am so grateful to be under her care.
Yvonne speaks to me like a best friend should. Her approach is direct and warm, and I love how she’s humorous with it. She challenges me to look at my situation from a different perspective and asks lots of tough questions that I never thought to ask myself. I’ve had not the best experience with a therapist in the past, but Yvonne definitely makes up for it!
