I believe in educating clients about the strategies we will be using during therapy to create a complete understanding of treatment, which makes it easier to master new skills to utilize outside of sessions. My focus I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, everyday stress, family issues, parenting issues, adjustment issues, women's issues, and career issues including work-life balance. My communication style I have three school aged children and a husband that travels constantly for his job, so I am very familiar with the stressors of everyday life, and have no problem sharing personal experiences to help normalize feelings. My approach is warm, personable, and lighthearted sprinkled with some humor. My initial goal is to help my clients feel comfortable, validated, and create a strong therapeutic relationship.
