He also completed an APA predoctoral internship at the North Shore Medical Center Salem, MA. During that time, Dr. Cottrells work included providing neuropsychological and psychological testing at Mass General for Children as well as providing behavioral health consultation services at the North Shore Physicianâs Group at Union Hospital. Prior to doctoral training, Dr. Cottrell obtained his Masterâs Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Human Development at Walsh University North Canton, OH, and he has worked for over 12 years as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC in a variety of settings including Private Practice, Hospitals, Community Mental Health, and College Counseling Centers. In addition to providing clinical care, Dr. Cottrell focuses on research and development for utilizing technology to improve mental health and executive function regulation through mobileweb based apps.
