What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect a collaborative and empathetic environment where your unique experiences and goals are honored and respected. I believe in fostering a supportive and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My approach is grounded in the belief that each individual has within them a deep reservoir of inner strength and wisdom. Together, we'll explore your unique strengths, values, and experiences. Through this process, you'll gain greater clarity, authenticity, and self-compassion, empowering you to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, my goal is to learn more about you, and give you an opportunity to learn more about me. We'll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, explore relevant personal history, and beginning to clarify your treatment goals. I encourage you to bring up any questions, concerns, or curiosities that you may have about the therapy process or our work together. Moving forward, We will work together to develop a treatment plan that outlines our goals and the strategies we will use to achieve them. This may include developing specific tools and strategies to address emotional and behavioral difficulties, as well as exploring your inner world with the goal of acknowledging, addressing, and healing your more painful feelings with compassion and acceptance. As we progress, we'll regularly review your goals and adjust our approach as needed to ensure that our work together is best serving you. Personal growth opens up new vistas, and I am committed to ensuring that our therapy remains specifically tailored to your evolving needs and goals.
