Her therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that individual well-being cannot be separated from larger systems of oppression, including racism, gendered racism, heterosexism, and other intersecting injustices. Clients will experience safe and creative space during treatment with Zahra. Motivated by creativity, she practices as a poetry therapy trainee, using expressive arts as a pathway for healing and self-discovery. Zahra M. Amber Hyman, LGPC, is licensed in the state of Maryland (#LGP15265) and under the clinical supervision of Georgina Irondi, LCSW-C (#20025).
