“Zandria’s therapy style falls into more than 2 categories. She’s extremely authentic, and challenges me to view the world in a different manner. I FEEL better after a session with her. She understands me better than any other therapist I’ve worked with and she “meets” me where I’m at when our sessions begin.”

Getting to know Zandria Washington

Every person has their own story. In therapy, we get to understand these individual stories and work towards writing the future we envision for ourselves. I recognize that each person has a unique perception of the world, and these differences should be embraced in a supportive and judgment-free environment. After attending Florida State University and obtaining a master’s degree in social work, I became licensed in the state of Florida as an LCSW. Alongside my credentials, I have several years of hands-on experience working in mental health care settings, ranging from crisis units to residential and outpatient programs. This experience has helped me understand the importance of creating individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each person’s unique needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

In the first session, I like to hear about your reasons or you interest in seeking therapy. Which may include current stressors and background/history. I also ask about expectations you have for treatment. In future sessions, we work together in creating and working towards your goals. I like my clients to be involved in goal setting and assessing progress towards goals.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
