Zareen Bhandara graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Houston in 2015. She then earned her Master of Education degree in Counseling from the same university in 2018. Ms. Bhandara is a current, active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certified by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors. Ms. Bhandara has past professional experience assisting survivors of abuse and trauma. She also has extensive clinical experience counseling clients with mood and behavioral disorders, including anxiety, depression, acute stress, insomnia, bipolar disorder, interpersonal relationship issues, adjustment issues, self-esteem issues, and work-life balance challenges. She primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral, person-centered, reality therapy, and solution-focused approaches in psychotherapy sessions. Ms. Bhandara has a special interest in working with young adult and adult individuals, couples, and families from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
