Hi, I'm Zibi. In today’s world, many tasks and responsibilities can easily become overwhelming as life throws us unexpected obstacles. We can become anxious, depressed, hopeless, feeling like there is no rhyme or reason to what we are going through, to what we are thinking and feeling, or even to life itself. We might choose to escape from our problems, angst, a sense of void, our past, or our daily thoughts through indulging in external gratifications, by using drugs and alcohol, sex, relationships, or other means. We often get stuck in our thinking, consumed by negative self-talk and perceptions of ourselves. I became a therapist because I realized there is power in being more self-aware; there are insights we can all gain to enrich our lives and overcome what we are struggling with. Whether you’re dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, existential angst, or addiction, we all have the means to understand, change, and live better lives. Life does not stop, and everything is in constant flux, but that doesn’t mean we have to be powerless over how we feel and what we want our lives to be. Through a variety of therapeutic approaches and philosophical theories, I help people realize their inner strength, improve their ability to overcome burdens, and gain deeper insights into their lives. What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy with me is a supportive, collaborative, and straightforward process. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin—in fact, you don't need to have all the answers at all. The most important step is simply getting started. Together, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, identify meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies that support lasting growth and positive change. I have extensive experience working with individuals facing addiction, including substance use as well as behavioral addictions such as internet, social media, and video game addiction. I also work with relationship concerns, couples navigating communication and conflict, and older adults experiencing life transitions, caregiving challenges, loss, or changes that come with aging. My approach is calm, honest, and solution-focused. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing openly while also feeling supported and gently challenged to move toward the life and relationships you want. I offer therapy in both Polish and English, with sessions available in person or online through secure video, making it easier to access care in the language and setting that feels most comfortable for you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work together begins with understanding your unique experiences, concerns, and the goals that matter most to you. We'll explore the patterns, thoughts, and behaviors that may be keeping you feeling stuck, while identifying your strengths and reconnecting with your capacity for growth, resilience, and purpose. Using a collaborative and straightforward approach, we'll work to move beyond self-limiting beliefs and inherited narratives that no longer serve you. Together, we'll develop practical tools and meaningful strategies that support lasting change, healthier relationships, and greater emotional well-being. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply sensing that life could feel more fulfilling and aligned, I'll meet you where you are. Therapy is a partnership, and I'm committed to walking alongside you every step of the way, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can gain insight, build confidence, and move toward the life you want.
