Getting to know Zella Harrington

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Colorado and Florida. One of the major reasons I entered this field was to assist others in meeting their goals. I earned my Master of Social Work through the University of Iowa College of Public Health in 2014, with an emphasis on persons with severe and persistent mental illness. I have worked with groups and individuals in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My approach to working with patients is that this is your therapy, and we will work on or towards whatever you choose. It is your life, and my goal is to help you discover and live your best life, as defined by you. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, grief, gender dysphoria, and with the LGBTQIA+ population. My therapeutic approaches include CBT, EMDR, SFBT, and MI, using a strengths-based approach that incorporates mindfulness.
