Psychotherapist
18455 Burbank Blvd, Ste 305, Los Angeles, CA
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with children, families, and individuals who want to better understand how relationships, life experiences, and family systems shape emotional wellbeing. I support children who may be struggling with big emotions, behavioral challenges, or adjusting to changes at home or school. I also work with parents who want guidance in supporting their child while strengthening the connection within their family. For individuals, therapy can be a space to explore relationship patterns, family dynamics, and personal challenges that may be impacting how you experience yourself and others. My approach is rooted in understanding the family system and the deeper patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients explore the underlying experiences and relational patterns that may be contributing to distress. Therapy with me is a collaborative process. Seeking support takes courage, and you don’t have to navigate these challenges alone. Whether you are a parent concerned about your child, a family wanting to improve communication, or an individual exploring personal or relational struggles, therapy can be a meaningful step toward growth and healing. I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and centered on understanding how family relationships and life experiences shape emotions and behavior. I draw from family systems, cognitive behavioral, and strengths-based approaches to help children, families, and individuals build insight, strengthen communication, and develop practical tools for healthier relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

How I work with clients: 1. Creating Safety & Understanding- we begin by slowing things down. I take time to understand your story- your relationshi8ps, your stressors, and what's been feeling hard. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported, not judged. 2. Identify Patterns (Not just Problems)- Together, we look at recurring moments- conflict with your child, overwhelm, disconnection, and begin to understand what is underneath them. We will focus on less of "what's wrong" and more on what's happening in your nervous systme and relationships. 3. Building Awareness and Regulation- Before change can happen, awareness comes first. We will learn how to notice your triggers, recognize signs of overstimulation, pause, and respond rather than react. This is where the real shift begins. 4. Strengthening Connection & Communication- We will work on practical ways to stay connected during hard moments, communicate more clearly and calmy, and support your child without escalating conflict. For most parents this if shifting from control to connection. 5. Practicing New Responses in Real Life- Therapy is not only about insight but also about practice. We will apply what you are learning to real situations so you can feel more confident in the moment, repair after conflict, and build more stable relationships over time. 6. Integration & Growth- As things begin to shift, we will focus on helping these changes stick. This will help you not just cope but truly relate differently in your daily life.
