Getting to know Zoe Altis

My name is Zoey Altis, and I am a NY Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I earned my Master's in Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University. My undergraduate background is in Speech Language Pathology prior to graduating with Psychology, with my MSW focusing on Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders. I work with adolescents and adults who struggle with childhood and adolescent behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, school avoidance, substance use–co-occurring disorders, relationship conflict/couples, parenting skills, women's issues, and stress management. I provide acceptance and commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, trauma-informed, and person-centered practice. I come from a diverse background, including work with adults in residential settings, children and adolescents in therapeutic day settings, adolescents on probation as well as in probation-mandated settings, and in clinic settings with adults ages 18–65+. I am very passionate about what I do, and I look forward to working with you on your mental health journey!
