Dr. Folts sees clients facing a variety of issues with offices in Arizona and Florida. Life presents us with circumstances that sometimes challenge our relationships and ourselves. Therapy can be a catalyst for discovering creative and viable solutions or for personal work toward acceptance. Dr. Folts brings a wealth of experience and training, including a Doctor of Behavioral Health and a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University. She has been a faculty member with Maricopa Community Colleges and has counseled students, employees, and faculty through her work with Arizona State University. Her doctoral research focused on depression, anxiety, chronic and prolonged illness, as well as supporting those facing a terminal diagnosis.

With over 30 years of specialized clinical experience, Dr Folts holds a doctorate in behavioral healthcare and is licensed to practice psychotherapy in both Arizona and Florida. Dr. Folts embraces the human mosaic; warmly welcoming clients from all backgrounds and life situations. LGBTQIA+ alley.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Individual and relationship therapy are areas of specialty; including stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem, life coaching, grief, men's and women's issues, trauma and diversity. Counseling is specialized for all clients who may be struggling, or those who just want to strengthen themselves and their relationships.
