Zoe Kinsey, LMHC

Zoe Kinsey, LMHC

Psychotherapist
WA
As human beings, we move through seasons of joy and hardship. At times, we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about who we are and what we truly want. I see therapy as a space to slow down and reflect on how your experiences have shaped your relationships, beliefs, and sense of self—while reconnecting with the strengths and values that guide you forward. I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, complex trauma and PTSD, ADHD, and women’s issues, including PMDD. My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as DBT, EMDR, and CPT. I integrate practical skill-building with deeper insight to help you regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and move through life with greater clarity, steadiness, and self-trust. Before becoming a therapist, I studied, taught, and performed music—an experience that continues to shape the patience, presence, and creativity I bring to my work. Meaningful change happens when authenticity and structure come together, and I strive to create a space where you feel deeply understood while gently supported toward lasting, sustainable growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I support teens and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, burnout, and women’s health concerns. Using evidence-based tools like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), I help clients build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and make meaningful progress in their lives. Therapy with me is collaborative and compassionate. Together, we explore what matters most to you, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create lasting change. My goal is to help you feel more confident, balanced, and aligned with who you truly are. It’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out—the most important step is finding a safe place to begin.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is a time to connect and understand your needs. We’ll discuss your concerns, goals, and experiences, and you’ll have space to ask questions about the process. Together, we’ll start exploring strategies and insights to support your growth and well-being.
