Getting to know Zoie Kaley

Have you been stuck in your thoughts and doom scrolling while trying to create a healthier routine but haven’t been able to stay consistent with yourself? Do you find yourself people-pleasing and wanting to stop second-guessing your decisions all the time? If the answer is “YES! HOW?” then look no further. I am uniquely skilled in helping clients become confident and assertive versions of themselves. My therapeutic style is laid back, collaborative, warm, and down to earth. I use humor to build connection and ease anxiety so that therapy doesn’t feel so intimidating and heavy. There is no denying that sharing our emotions can be downright terrifying. Building trust is the first step toward establishing a healthy therapeutic relationship. As you start to feel comfortable, you will gain a better understanding of your inner thoughts and the relationships that surround you, which will allow you to create and lead the life you desire. Together, we’ll help you access the tools and resources you need to cope with the roadblocks that are getting in the way and preventing you from achieving your personal goals. I look forward to connecting with you! I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from Simmons University. I also completed a Post Graduate Program at the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I have partnered with Mentaya to help you use their out-of-network benefits to save on therapy.

Zoie is one of the most genuine and kind people that I’ve ever met! I’m so grateful to have her as my therapist and would definitely recommend her to someone who’s going through a rough time or someone who just needs a supportive listener. Myself and my teenage daughter both use Zoie and after many years of trying to find someone that we truly felt was helpful and genuinely interested in devising a treatment plan that would be a stepping stone on a path of healing and growth we found Zoie and would never look back. She’s genuine, empathetic, informed, patient and yet strong when needed and won’t allow you to get away with any self sabotaging. We both appreciate her and look forward always to our sessions

Had an amazing experience with Zoie, as a first time therapy patient I was extremely anxious but she managed to put all my nerves to rest. With every session I saw immense improvements in myself which I have to attribute to Zoie and this process. She is patient, understanding, and provides you with fantastic advice as well as many useful skills. She has a kind and attentive approach which makes you feel heard after every session. Never had any scheduling problems, I am a full time student and she is very flexible and will work around your schedule. Highly recommend her, you will be satisfied with your experience, she is truly amazing at what she does !!!
My time in therapy with Zoie has completely changed my life for the better. I have never worked with a therapist that was so encouraging and excited for all my victories both big and small. Zoie has given me real tools to help aid my life and make me feel proactive and supported. My time working with her truly been the most rewarding experience.
Zoie is beyond professional, attentive and committed to improving your mental health. I've been through many, many therapists, providers, treatments etc. and I've never had someone come up with a plan and approach my concerns in the way she has and she is so competent. You will finish your session with a new perspective and feel better. HIGHLY recommend - she is wonderful at what she does!
Zoie Kaley is an excellent therapist. She is patient, respectful, and non-judegemental. Zoie has met me where I am at this point in my life and has helped guide me through difficult times while instituting practical practices that I can easily incorporate into my life. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with our sessions and would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an empathetic and attentive therapist.
Zoie is kind, compassionate, and firm.
Zoie is incredibly kind and understanding, and she listens without judgment. She creates a space where I can talk freely about anything I want, yet she also manages to relate our sessions back to my personal mental health goals and self betterment. I’m so glad I found Zoie!
Zoie is seriously the best! She is so understanding, warm, and empathetic. As someone who had mixed feelings about starting therapy and nervous about talking to a mental health professional. Zoie truly made me feel safe and comfortable. She’s helped me through so much and I can’t thank her enough for all her kindness, support, and advice. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
Zoe has been a great therapist, very attentive and helpful in guiding me towards strategies to help unpack and work through what I was going through at the time. She helped to frequently normalize the experiences I was having and gave me a lot of good strategies to put things into perspective for me, so I could feel more like I had full control over the things in my life. With daily practice of the suggested strategies, within a matter of only a couple of weeks, I was able to get myself back into a much better place and make sense of what was happening in my life. She was also very willing to work to meet my schedule, meeting more regularly at first and then over time transitioning into less frequent visits. I would definitely recommend Zoe to anyone looking for a therapist to help deal with the things that life throws at you.
Zoie is THE BEST. I literally don't know where I would be without this woman in my life. She's been supportive, understanding and incredibly accommodating to my ever-evolving crazy schedule. I really wanted to find a therapist around my age based in NYC and I am so thankful I did. She tells you like it is, which I love. She knows how to give me just enough to work on every week that doesn't feel overwhelming with everything else I have going on. I've grown so much since working with her in only a couple of months. If she wasn't my therapist we would be BFFs, because she is a genuine, kind and caring human. So incredibly grateful to have found her!
