Zuania Capo

Psychotherapist
NY
My practice focuses on supporting neurodivergent adults and families, particularly those affected by ADHD and Autism. I explore how these conditions manifest in relationships, parenting, and daily life. Additionally, I provide postpartum support for new parents. Neurodivergent adults often feel overwhelmed by a world that isn't designed for them. This is a space where you can strengthen your skills, receive practical tools to navigate life's demands, and challenge the negative narratives you may have internalized about yourself. My work is trauma-informed, culturally grounded, integrative, spiritually sensitive, and strength-based. I offer services in both English and Spanish. I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach; instead, I meet you where you are, drawing on your existing strengths rather than focusing solely on what may be perceived as "wrong." I provide a safe, compassionate, and approachable environment where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I believe that through self-awareness and radical acceptance, we can work toward genuine healing and strengthen your intentionality in how you live your life. I offer a flexible approach with no scheduled weekly sessions. You determine your own frequency and can reach out whenever you wish to connect.

What should a new client know about working with you?

*I do not assess, diagnose, prescribe, or manage medications. Additionally, I do not provide documentation or participate in any legal processes. **I am an out-of-network provider. I don't bill insurance directly. You pay out of pocket, and I provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network benefits. *** Right now, I'm available for single-session, integrative solution-focused consultations. We'll explore what's really going on to find clarity, build connection, and develop self-awareness, acceptance, and healing. You can connect once, or return whenever it feels right, as availability allows. You're likely a good fit if you value a trusted space to reconnect, reflect, or find clarity on days when things feel like too much: masking through a meeting, sensory overload, tasks piling up, emotional overwhelm, or the exhaustion of parenting a neurodivergent child while managing your own neurodivergence challenges (ADHD or Autism). Whether we meet every day, every week, every month, or once a year, I'm here to give you a space to reflect and grow at your own rhythm.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I'm here to walk alongside you, not to lead or tell you what to do; the work happens in partnership. In session, we do talk therapy grounded in an integrative, solution-focused, spiritually sensitive, and trauma-informed approach, moving at your pace through self-awareness, acceptance, and healing. Sessions are 45 minutes.
