Zuania Cap?, MHC-LP NY Licensed Associate Mental Health Counselor I am a compassionate multicultural and bilingual (ENG/SPA) psychotherapist committed to supporting individuals in their journey to improve their lives and relationship dynamics while fostering self-awareness. I work collaboratively with clients to reconnect, heal, and regain a sense of empowerment through integrative, holistic, person-centered, and trauma- and multicultural-informed approaches. As a therapist, I have specialized in working with parents struggling with mood and anxiety disorders while taking particular interest in neurodiversity and developmental, behavioral, and conduct-related disorders. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University, which has equipped me with a strong foundation to provide effective and empathetic care. My areas of expertise and interest include Lifespan Integration, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMAD), Trauma, Spiritual Counseling, Neurodiversity (Neurodivergent Parenting), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Behavioral Parent Training (BPT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Ongoing session: $150-200 for 50 minutes

Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay

In-person or remote sessions: $200 per 50-minute session. Sliding Scale/ Reduced Fee: Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis. Insurance: We accept out-of-network coverage, provide superbill for the patient to file for reimbursement, or Files insurance claim on the patient’s behalf. While payment is required up-front, services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment and you have not notified ZocDoc at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
