About Dr. Afshin Malaki
Dr. Malaki established Scottsdale Personal OBGYN as a solo private practice to offer his patients personalized care. He earned his medical degree from Kobenhavns Universitet Det Sundhedsvidenskabelige og Medicinsk Fakultet and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center. Additionally, he pursued a fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. To enhance his ability to provide superior service, Dr. Malaki also earned a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
As a patient of his practice, you will see him for all your OB/GYN-related office visits and any hospital admissions. He personally performs your minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and attends your delivery.

I had such an amazing experience with this office today. I was able to make a same day, new patient, appointment for my well woman's exam. I was greeted when I walked through the doors and taken back quickly. The MA was so nice, she was easy to talk and she actively listened to my responses. All of that lead up to the most comfortable exam I have ever had with Dr. Malaki. His bed side manner is amazing. He was kind, gentle and educational. I'm so grateful for such an amazing experience today. Thank you Dr. Malaki and thank you to your staff!!

Dr Malaki, in my last two appointments, has been great. He truly listens and is very kind. I’m a very nervous, anxious person and his demeanor and awareness helps me feel less awkward. Dr. Malaki was so through and personable! He made sure I understood my treatment options before moving on to the next topic. I was nervous about seeing a male Dr. but he was far better than any female Dr. I've seen. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

This office is beyond unorganized. It took almost two weeks to get a call from a nurse with results from my blood work. When I did get a call, all I was told was "results are normal" with no further explanation. When I showed up for my first ultrasound I was told there was a miscommunication and that I would not be seen that day. It was a waste of my time and not worth the aggravation. I would not suggest this doctor or go back to this practice.

He did not shame me in any way, I felt that I could be honest and straight forward with him. He also asked permission to note certain things I'd say, and explained every step he was taking.
I've never had such a positive experience at an OBGYN. I will be returning.
