Hi, I'm Anthony. I grew up in the Chicago area and earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. I then attended Ohio State University-where I received my Doctor of Medicine and completed my residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics. I am certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics and have worked for five years providing care to patients of all ages. I spent 2.5 of those years with my family in Honduras, where I learned to speak Spanish and worked in a missionary hospital. Since returning to the U.S. in 2021, I have worked in both urgent care and primary care settings. Like many, I have had my own battle with depression. It began in my late teenage years and has continued, in varying degrees, ever since. I have participated in many of the treatments that I recommend for my own patients-counseling, medication, and a healthy lifestyle. Why do I mention this? Well, I guess you could say that I try to counsel partially out of my own experiences and struggles. I will be empathetic, understanding, and kind. I will see you as a person with value, dignity, and potential. I may not always feel as you do and will not have experienced exactly what you have, but I do understand some of what you are going through. I share the desire to be loved, accepted, and happy. I too want to be free of depression, anxiety, and fear. Let's work together on your journey.
