I strongly believe that people who have taken the initial steps of acknowledging a problem and asking for help with their mental health conditions or substance use disorder are already halfway toward healing. My role in this ambitious and righteous journey is to provide you with comprehensive care guidelines for your mental health conditions and to offer appropriate medication(s) without judgment or stigma. I will do everything in my capacity to ensure you never face any type of judgment when accessing this care. My hope is that as we get to know each other, you will feel safe and comfortable enough to be honest about your mental health, how you are doing, and how you are feeling at every visit. I will not discharge you from treatment or use any form of punishment if a return to substance use occurs. My goal is always to develop a comprehensive plan to support you in your journey toward treating your mental health conditions. I am always available to respond to your questions, dilemmas, and doubts. I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from Jimma University and completed my residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
