Hello, my name is Dr. Carmen Jaramillo. I'm a board-certified family medicine physician. I earned my medical degree from A.T. Still University Kirksville School of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. I then went on to do my residency in Family Medicine in Miami, Florida. Originally born in Chicago, I have a unique family background of Venezuelan, Filipino, and Chinese. This has made me very appreciative of many different cultures including ways of approaching medicine and wellness. I have had the opportunity to travel to many countries as far as Asia and has been able to learn about different concepts of what makes someone healthy body, mind, and soul. Although I do not have formal training as a therapist or counselor, I took it upon myself to understand things beyond what typical medicine can provide for each patient. Each patient has a story, and it is not always something that can be managed with medication alone. Being able to understand the source of the problem is imperative to the healing of each patient. With that in mind, I try to support those who are willing to make a difference in their lives with both methods. I look forward to working with this company. Thank you for this opportunity!
