About Dr. Chelsea Roberts

Dr. Chelsea Roberts is a general practitioner who transitioned from general surgery to focus on preventive medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona and completed her residency in General Surgery at Maricopa Medical Center. At Roberts Family Medicine, a family-run micro-practice, we prioritize quality over quantity. We focus on the whole person and often use food as medicine. Our front office manager and Director of Operations, Gail Roberts, affectionately known as “Mom,” keeps our wheels turning. Together, we aim to provide patients with a thorough and relaxed experience where we can build trusting relationships and collaborate on individualized wellness plans.
Dr. Roberts welcomes all patients ages 13 and older to her practice.
Please note that Dr. Roberts does not prescribe narcotics or other controlled substances such as benzodiazepines, stimulants, or hormone replacement therapy.

The waiting area and office were clean & professional in appearance. I'm sure my wait was a bit longer than usual since I was a new patient & had to complete the standard new patient paperwork. Dr. Roberts took time to ask questions and listen to my responses. She carefully reviewed records I brought from previous lab results. I never felt rushed. She offered very helpful advice, ordered new lab work, and scheduled a follow-up visit. Dr. Roberts is knowledgeable, professional, and thorough - qualities that are hard to find in today's medical environment.

Dr. Roberts simply took her time with our appointment. She wasn't trying her hardest to see me to the door, she wasn't becoming annoyed or short with questions or concerns. She was thorough and wanted to make sure I was comfortable and confident in what I was receiving as a patient. She was personable and knowledgeable. I like this one.

Wow is what I said to my wife after the appointment. The time and detail spent on not just trying to figure out the issue, but developing a plan for all around wellness was life changing. I needed help in managing all the chaos in my life and finding the plan to get everything physically and mentally right. Add to it, I needed whatever the ailiment I am having, zeroed in on and fixed. I haven’t felt this confident about the direction of my health in a long time.

Dr. Roberts is one of the sweetest and caring doctors I’ve seen. I came in with a problem that ended up being referred to a specialist but she took the extra time and effort to make sure I had everything I needed and laid out the next steps for me. I could tell that she really cares about her patients! My only complaint is that I was asked to move my appointment 30 minutes earlier but ended up having my appointment at the original slot I asked for. Had to wait around 45 minutes to be seen.
