Dr. Crystal Dorsey, MD

Primary Care Doctor
100 Robinhood Medical Plaza, Winston-Salem, NC
Family medicine is the perfect specialty for me; caring for the whole family, from grandparents to parents to children, allows me to build long-term relationships with my patients. Being able to grow together is truly a privilege. I also appreciate how my role as a primary care provider allows me to encourage lifestyle changes and practices that can help maintain health and prevent disease. I believe in a team approach to medicine, always with the patient at the center. My goal is to keep patients informed about best practices and my recommendations so they can make the best decisions for themselves and their health. Medicine is far from "one size fits all," so it is important to keep patients actively involved so they can understand their unique health and have a role in guiding their unique care. I grew up in Georgia and attended the University of Georgia for my undergraduate degree. I moved to North Carolina for medical school and have called the Tarheel state home ever since. My husband and I have two children who keep us very busy. As a family, we stay active in our local church. We also enjoy visiting the mountains and spending time outside, especially in the fall when it's cooler and the leaves are changing. In what little spare time I have, I enjoy jogging (slowly), swimming and watching college football.
