Family medicine allows me to build lasting relationships with patients and care for individuals and families throughout every stage of life. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. My goal is to serve as a trusted partner in each patient's healthcare journey. At the heart of my approach is a belief that healthcare works best when it's built on trust, communication and collaboration. That means listening carefully to each person's concerns, understanding their goals, and building care plans that are both evidence-based and practical for everyday life. I value the opportunity to focus on prevention and chronic disease management, while helping patients make informed decisions about their health. I also work closely with our clinical staff and specialists to make sure our patients receive coordinated, comprehensive care. Building meaningful relationships with patients and colleagues alike is one of the most fulfilling parts of this work. Throughout my career I've had the opportunity to take on leadership roles focused on quality improvement, patient experience and operational excellence. Mentoring colleagues and supporting practice improvement initiatives are areas I find genuinely rewarding, and I remain committed to advancing primary care through collaborative leadership and continuous learning. Outside of medicine, I'm the team physician for the Greensboro Swarm, which is a role I genuinely enjoy. When I'm not working, time with my family, staying active and getting outdoors are what recharge me.
