Doctor of Medicine, 1986, The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Completed Residency in Family Medicine, 1989, St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. Solo Practice, 1989–1997, Salas Family Practice. Founding member in the formation of Primary Care Associates, 1997–2000. In 2000, established Salas Minor Emergency Center.

As a mother and nurse, I am always looking for the best provider especially when it comes to my child's well being. Dr. Salas has proven to be one of the most knowledgeable MDS around. He was very kind and supportive. He quickly diagnosed my daughter and got her an appropriate treatment. I highly recommend him.
My visits are always great. Friendly & quick.
I went in for fly symptoms. I felt horrible! Dr. Salas did all the necessary tests & confirmed the flu. He gave me meds and instructions on what to do & not do while recovering. He was very informative and kind. I felt so much better within a few days.
